The Eastern Oregon track & field team hosts the EOU Invitational every spring; bringing in some of the finest athletes that the Northwest has to offer.

EOU is also has played host to the OSAA District 2A-8 Wapiti League Track & Field Championships, as well as the OSAA District A-4 Old Oregon League Track & Field Championships.

Eastern Oregon University hosts the Cascade Collegiate Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships and the Multi-Event Championships approximately every three years.  Eastern last hosted the Multi-Event Championship in April 2001 and the Outdoor meet in May 2002.
