EOU Women Claim Regular Season Title

LA GRANDE, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon University women won a close one against Northwest Christian College 75-68 Saturday night, giving them the regular season Cascade Collegiate Conference title.              

The game was close throughout, however, NCC was never able to take the lead at any point in the ballgame.              

Tiffanie Ulmer led the Mounties with 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds propelling EOU to the win.  McKenie Gambee led the Beacons with 18 points on 9-15 shooting from the field.              

This is the fifth consecutive conference title for the Mounties, and sixth in the last seven seasons. The victory improves EOU to 24-4 overall and 17-3 in conference.  NCC drops to 14-16 overall and 8-12 in conference.
