Women Cruise at Northwest Christian

EUGENE, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon Women's Basketball team showed no signs of being road weary when they zoomed passed Northwest Christian 76-45 in Eugene Friday night.

The Mounties were lead by the 18 points and 9 rebounds of Elise Hawes.  Tiffanie Ulmer, Jenny Fiso and Laura Olsen each reached double figures as well.  Ulmer notched 12 points on 6-11 shooting while Fiso and Olsen had 11 a piece.

EOU improved it's record to 11-1, 5-0 in the Cascade Conference.

The team, which has not been in La Grande since December 17th, returns to action Tuesday night against rival College of Idaho before facing Evergreen and Northwest University on Friday and Saturday.  Each of the three will be played at Quinn.  Game times are set for 5:30 each night.
