Cross Country Teams Earn National Exposure

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - This weeks national cross country rating has the Eastern Oregon University Men's Cross Country team remaining a national fixture at number 10 while the Women are beginning to make a name for themselves, earning three votes in the latest poll.
The men actually lost four votes from last week after finishing 7th out of 27 teams in the Willamette University Invite this past weekend.
The women on the other hand break in the top 25 for the first time this season, at number 21, on the strength of their 9th place finish at the Willamette.
Regionally, the men remain in the number two spot while the women move up one position to 5th.
Both teams will have an opportunity to improve next weekend as they host the EOU Open in La Grande October 13th.
