Basketball Teams Begin Post Season Run

La Grande Ore.  The Eastern Oregon Mountaineer Men's and Women's Basketball Teams are gearing up for Cascade Conference Tournament play.

 

The Mountie Women (23-5, 15-3) are the Cascade Conference Champions and the number one seed in the conference tournament.  They will host Northwest University (10-2, 15-3) Tuesday night at Quinn Coliseum.  Game time is set for 7:00pm.  Admission will be $6 for adults and $2 for students with ID.

 

The EOU Men (21-7, 12-6) have equaled a school record for most wins in a season with 21 and are the number five seed in the conference tourney.  They will travel to Albertson College (19-6, 13-5) on Wednesday.   Tip off is at 7:30pm MT.  Reserved seating will set you back $10 while general admission is $6 and students with ID will pay $4.

 

Come out and support your Conference Champion Women's Basketball Team on Tuesday in Quinn.  On Wednesday the Athletic Department is providing a free Booster Bus for EOU students with ID to the Albertson playoff game.  Students will need to pay the admission fee.  The bus will leave at 3:45pm and free pizza will be provided.  You can sign up in person in the athletic office or call Julianna Looney at 962-3497.

 

A second booster bus for booster club members has also been scheduled.  The cost of the trip will be $20 for Individuals, $10 for youth under 12, accompanied by an adult and a family rate of $50 with a maximum of 5 people.  The price of admission will be separate and departure time is also scheduled for 3:45pm.  Please sign up in the athletic office or call Julianna Looney at 962-3497.
