LA GRANDE, Ore. - All the Eastern Oregon Women did was win three straight games since the last national poll.  The last of which over the Cascade Conference's 2nd place team.  For their efforts the 14-1 Mounties simply remained at 19th in the latest NAIA National Poll.  The Men fell to 10th after suffering their first loss in two months Saturday against unranked Northwest University 78-75.

The women will put their perfect 8-0 conference record on the line this weekend at Corban and Concordia.  Eastern was unranked but receiving votes in the NAIA preseason poll released on October 31.  On December 5th EOU cracked the top 25 at 23rd and has continued on a steady rise until this week.

The Mountie Men began the season at 19th in the preseason NAIA coaches poll.  Week after week Eastern continued to rise peaking at number 3 last week.  After their lone league loss EOU finds itself at 10.  Now back on top of the CCC standings with OIT the Mountaineers will travel to Corban and Concordia looking to regain the rhythm they showed before the break.
