Eastern Volleyball Inks All-State Standout

LA GRANDE, Ore. - The 2008-2009 Volleyball recruiting class has it's first member. 5'9 Crook County High School Standout Melanie Ceciliani has signed a letter of intent to play for the Mounties next season.
As a junior Ceciliani was 1st Team All-Conference, 2nd Team All-State, and 1st Team All-State Tournament. Her senior season only got better as the Outside Hitter was once again named 1st Team All-Conference but soared to 1st Team All-State and finished at the MVP of the State Tournament while leading her team their second consecutive 5A State Championship.
Head Coach Kaki McLean could not have been more excited about Ceciliani's commitment to EOU, "We are so thrilled to have an athlete of Mel's caliber become a member of our family. She will be a force on our team right away."
Ceciliani, Coach McLean and 1st Team All-CCC star Grace Deboodt all graduated from Crook County High.
