Volleyball Continues to Roll

Eastern Oregon picked up its 15th victory of the season and pulled even with Oregon Tech in the Cascade Conference for fourth place, with a dominating 3-0 victory at Evergreen State.

The Geoducks never got to 20 points in this game as EOU cruised, 30-15, 30-17, and 30-15. This compares to the September 29th victory over Evergreen in La Grande, 30-12, 30-12, and 30-19.

Eastern improves to 12-5 in CCC play and 15-8 overall with their third straight win. The Mountaineers have won 10 of their last 12 games. Evergeen falls to 0-17 in conference play and overall play.

The Mountaineers continue their I-5 Washington trip today at Northwest University. The Eagles come into the game 6-11 in the conference and 7-12 overall. On September 28, EOU edged NU in five games, 30-25, 20-30, 23-30, 30-21, 15-13.

With three games left in the regular season, including tonights game, the Mountaineers sit 4.5 games behind first place Southern Oregon. The combined record of opponents for EOU in the final three games, 37-33.
