Volleyball Win Streak Ends at 7

ASHLAND, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon University Volleyball team ran into a blazing hot Southern Oregon team that extended its win streak to 13 games when they swept the Mounties 3-0 (30-21,30-18, 30-19).
EOU managed just 19 kills on the evening, led by Grace Deboodt's six. Senior Kiley Cobb did have a match high 19 digs for the Mountaineers.
With the loss Saturday's match with Oregon Tech becomes a huge one. Eastern needs to a win to give themselves the best chance to wind up in the top three in the Cascade Conference, which would give them a spot in the regional tournament.
The Saturday match starts at 1:30 pm.
