Mounties End Season with Two Losses to ACI

La Grande, Ore - Despite their best efforts The Eastern Oregon University Softball Team dropped both games to the Cascade Conference Champion Yotes.  Seniors; Stephanie Baumann, Marissa Becker, Teri Cisler and Meghan Henderson took the field for the final time in Mountaineer uniforms losing to Albertson College 13-9 and 4-0 at Pioneer Park.

Game one saw Henderson seize the moment at the plate with a single, double and a triple.  Henderson also added a walk while playing for the last time in front of the home crowd.

Eastern got out of the gates fast scoring the first three runs of the game before ACI came back to score three of their own in the third inning.  EOU would add three more runs.  Unfortunately, Albertson would outscore the Mounties 10-3 the rest of the way.

The second game saw the Yotes shut down the Eastern batters, allowing just two hits.  The Mountaineer pitching staff, led by senior Teri Cisler, held a powerful Albertson team to four runs but could not muster a run themselves dropping the game 4-0
