Conference Leaders Too Much for Mounties

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Mounties 8-15, 5-7 CCC, struggled in their match-up with the current Cascade Conference leader,  Oregon Institute of Technology 20-10, 10-2 CCC.  Cold bats led the softball squad in to two losses, 1-8 and 0-7 respectively. 

According to Coach Wheeler, her team played solid defense, however struggled offensively.  The Mounties top performers where Melodee Mildenberger who went two for four on the day and Iris Woodhead who went two for six with 2 doubles.

After this weekends games, the team is in a three way tie for fourth place with The College of Idaho and Corban.  The Mounties will be in action again Tuesday April 8th against Northwest Nazarene University of Nampa ID.  The game is set for 2:30 pm Mountain Time.
