Mounties Lose Heartbreaker in Portland

Portland, Ore - In game one, EOU rallied with two outs in the top of the 8th inning to take a 4-0 lead. In the bottom of the inning, CU responded by scoring 4 runs and force the continuation of extra innings. The Cavaliers scored in the bottom of the 12th to claim their first win 5-4 of the 2007 Cascade Conference schedule.

Eastern, no doubt feeling the effects of an emotional defeat, lost game two by a score of 5-1.

The Mountaineers (3-5) will travel to Salem to face Corban College in their second conference match up of the season.
