San Jose, Costa Rica - On back to back days the Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers faced teams that play in the Costa Rican National League. The Mounties managed to win both.
On Friday, EOU knocked off Liseo 79-64 after starting the game down 11-1. Mark Carollo led Eastern with 19 points while younger brother Paul finished with 12.
The Carollo's were just two of six members of the team in double figures. Jeremy Templeton and Josh Landsverk had 11 points while Neil Fryer and Dan Blanchard chipped in with 10 each.
Saturday, Kyle Janke and Mark Carollo led the way with 11 each as a balanced Mountaineer attack beat The University of Costa Rica.
The final game on the Mounties schedule is Sunday at noon versus Saprissa.
