Mayfield, Eby Selected for VSN Classic

LA GRANDE, Ore. - Seniors James Mayfield and Michael Eby have been selected to participate in the Victory Sports Networks 2nd Annual VSN Classic Football Game. The game will take place April 19th, 2008 at Platte County High School in Platte City, Missouri.
While the official rosters have not yet been released on the Victory Sports Network, both Mayfield and Eby have agreed to play in the game featuring the nations best NAIA players.
Newly hired Head Coach Tim Camp served as an assistant for James and Michael their final two seasons as Mounties and had this to say about their selection, "I think this is great for these two young men and for Eastern Oregon University."
Coach Camp went on to say, "Michael and James are great for the game of football. I saw both of these two men grow and mature over the last two years! In my opinion they play the game like it is supposed to be played. . . HARD and FAST!"
