Bligh Signs Early With Mountie Hoops

Head Coach Ryan Looney announces Coeur d' Alene High School senior Nate Bligh the first signee for the 2007-2008 season. 

"We are excited to have added another great student-athlete to our program,"  said Looney. " Nate will fit nicely into our offensive system, but more importantly, he is a quality perimeter defender as well.  He has an edge to him, which will add some toughness to our roster.  It is fantastic to have another talented player, but we also got a great person with the addition of Nate Bligh." 

Last year as a 6'3 180 pound junior wing he was named FirstTeam All-Panhandle League and First Team All-North Idaho.  He averaged 15.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 4.0 apg, and shot 40% from the three point line. Nate was also a stand out wide reciever on a football team that advanced the the Idaho State Tournament.
