Saints Unkind to Mounties, 28-7

Eastern Oregon University stayed with the perennial power for a half of football, going into halftime down 13-7. The Mountaineers were the first team to score a touchdown on the Saints this season.

Eastern's score came at 11:11 in the second quarter off a fake field-goal pass from holder Ian O'Brien to Adam Donnelly.

EOU gained 185 total yards of offense, 99 on the ground. Eastern quarterbacks Brad Padayao finished four for eight with 35 yards, and Ian O'Brien threw for 52 yards completing three of his ten passes.

Hermiston native, John Barnett threw for 218 yards completing 15 of his 30 passes for Carroll.
