It's a busy week for the 10-2 Mountaineer women's basketball team as they will play three games in in five days.

Eastern Oregon is currently in the midst of a three-game win streak and winner of their last four away from Quinn Coliseum.

First on the schedule will be a trip to Salem and a 5:30 tip-off with the Western Baptist College Lady Warriors.

The Mountaineers are trying to shake a mini two-game losing streak to the Warriors after dropping both games to Baptist last season.

The weekend will bring the Mountaineers home to La Grande to face Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech.

Friday's matchup with Southern Oregon will be the first time since the two teams have met in the Cascade Conference semifinals last year.  The Raiders defeated Eastern, 72-59 in overtime.

Southern has won two in row after losing three straight.

Camille Porter and Lindsey Hilaire both average double figures for the Raiders with 12 and 11 points per game, respectively.

Saturday's contest with league-leading Oregon Tech will be interesting as the game will bring together two La Grande High School all-state players; Oregon Tech's Lindsey Carmichael and EOU's Christie Weaver.

Carmichael, who is coming off the bench for Tom Loney's Owls, is averaging just under six points per game.  The Mountaineer's Weaver is also coming off the bench averaging just over six points and three rebounds per game.

All three games this week will begin at 5:30 pm.
