forces women's basketball Postponement

LA GRANDE, Ore. - A winter storm a
caused the postponement of the Pacific University/Eastern Oregon
University women's basketball game schedule for this evening.
A very wet winter storm brought 3-6
inches of snow overnight to the people on the eastern slopes of the
Blue Mountains, including the Elkhorn and Wallowa mountain ranges.
"I think this a prudent decision
by Judy Sherman, athletic director of Pacific University and Coach
Thompson," stated EOU athletic director Rob Cashell.
"The safety of all student-athletes are our first concerns in
this sort of situation, be it EOU athletes or our opponents."
No makeup date has been set at this
time.
Weather permitting, Eastern Oregon will
travel to College Place, Wash tomorrow for a contest with Walla Walla
College. Gametime is set for 7 PM.
