Sunday's Games Moved

LA GRANDE, Ore.
– After a couple days of teamwork
and plenty of dirt, head coach Coach Anji Weissenfluh has announce
that Sunday's doubleheader with Walla Walla will be played at the
EOU Softball Field.
The games were originally moved from
La Grande to Pendleton's Blue Mountain Community College due to an
unplayable infield.
"Our team, our fans, the campus, and
the community deserve for us to play at home," said Weissenfluh.
"If it takes a little more elbow grease than usual to get it done,
then so be it."
After the infield lost an untimely
bout with the sprinkler system last Saturday night, the field was
left basically unplayable. All efforts were then focused on
moving the games to either another location in La Grande or over the
Blue Mountains to Pendleton.
"We grateful for Coach (Nicole)
Christian at Blue Mountain for helping us out for the past couple of
weeks," said Weissenfluh.
Game time for the Walla Walla/Eastern
Oregon battle is set at 1 p.m.
