Student Fee Committee 2008-2009
What is the Student Fee Committee?
The Student Fee Committee (SFC) is charged with the allocation of Incidental Fee money to campus groups. This is overseen by eight students, with two advisors providing added perspective. The ASEOU Vice President for Financial Affairs chairs the Student Fee Committee, with the ASEOU Student Body President serving as the Vice-Chair. Annual allocations vary, but have recently been near $1,000,000. These funds are used to support Student Union, Educational, Cultural, Student Government, and Athletic Activities.
At Eastern Oregon University the Student Fee Committee allocates funds to 23 different units. These vary from Community Connection Shuttle Bus service payments, to support for Athletics and Intramurals, to Theater and Clubs to name a few.
