My work comes from a lifetime of exploration and constant questioning of the everyday life happenings that surround me throughout my life journeys.  My overall goal is to make art because I like the way it makes me feel and I enjoy observing people and their reactions to what they see.  I enjoy making art that is visually confusing or it raises questions of what is happening.

My medium of choice is photography mostly at a large format scale.  The subject of my photos, consist of a certain absence that is filled with vibrant contrast of pure brilliant whites, and dark dense blacks.

By using the multiple pieces of paper, I am fitting a single photograph together as it would be a puzzle and each individual photo is a puzzle piece.  Along with the puzzle effect, I have been using one negative to make a huge single photo.  By switching the negative around in the negative carrier it will cause the image to be reversed and act as a mirror image.  In doing this it adds a new type of element to the photographic equation and further questions the whole idea of confusion, yet an intriguing product.

As I progress as a photographer in this society, many different things and ideas always test me, but I will never sway from my initial teachings, but I will never let my self be limited to those teaching only.
