In this busy world we often don't have time to truly observe and appreciate the easily overlooked things around us.  I want to entice people to look at the beautiful details of their surroundings. My artwork reflects my reverence for nature and my perceptions of every day objects. I am inspired by the beauty displayed in the shape, color, texture, and patterns of the natural and man-made world. The plants in my prints and paintings are also mementos of loved ones and places where I have lived or visited. My work is also about exploring and depicting possibilities envisioned in the materials employed.
