The Community Collaborations Print Exchange Project serves to bring university students into the issues embedded within the community in which we live. Students and community members connect, share, and interact as we learn about the actual situations that affect the people and environment around us. Through the structure of the print exchange students find themselves researching, debating and positioning politically as they work through idea design and development. They work from within a personal sphere that becomes politically charged as they engage in the processes of printmaking as a means of effecting social change.
