EOU ORIENTATION FOR ONLINE DEGREE-SEEKING STUDENTS
Steps to an Online Degree
Step 1 • DEGREE PROGRAM SELECTION:
View information about the degrees we offer. You may also request information by calling 1-800-544-2195 or 541-962-3378.
Step 2• ONLINE STUDENT DEGREE ORIENTATION:
Attend a free face-to-face Orientation session held at locations throughout Oregon (listed on each Regional Center’s web site) or view the Online Orientation.
Step 3• EOU ADMISSION:
Admission to EOU is required for all degree seeking students. View admission requirements and apply by filling out an Online Admission Form. Printed forms are available at any of our Regional Centers or by contacting EOU’s Admissions Office. Request official transcripts from all institutions that you have attended since leaving high school and have them sent to the Admissions office.
Note – You can enroll in up to 8 credits per term without being admitted.

Step 4• EOU ADVISER:
Once admitted to EOU, you will be assigned to an academic adviser who will guide you through your degree program from now until graduation. You must participate in an online or live Degree Planning Workshop (cost is $50). Contact your adviser or Dee Toland (e-mail address: dtoland@eou.edu ) for registration information.
