Joella Manske DeVillier

Hi! My name is Joella Manske DeVillier, and I have been a professional academic adviser here at EOU for 9 years. I advise on-campus students in the following programs:

•Art

•English

•Exploratory/Undecided
•Communications (minor only)

•Media Arts

•Music

•Theatre Arts

        I enjoy welcoming new students and learning about their academic interests. It is also a joy to see “my” students progress through their years here and walk across the stage at graduation time! I am a member of NACADA, the professional association for advising, and I believe in the importance of a good advising relationship to help you achieve your academic goals.

       You will find me on the second floor of Loso Hall, home of the Art, English, Media Arts/Communications, Music, and Theatre departments.

      If you are a new student, please be sure to take your accuplacer placement tests (see http://www.eou.edu/testing/pcmt.html for details) and take a look at the EOU catalog and EOU advising website to familiarize yourself with any majors you may be interested in, so that I can best assist you with your academic plans.
