International Student Adviser

The International Student Adviser will help students become acquainted with Eastern Oregon University and the La Grande community. The Advisor acts as a liaison between international students and the sponsoring agencies, provides assistance in the interpretation of immigration laws and regulations, and helps students with academic concerns, financial matters, and personal or social situations. In addition, each student is assigned an academic adviser, who will help students plan a program of study.

International Student Orientation

Before beginning classes, new students attend Orientation to help them prepare and become acquainted with EOU.  All international students attend International Student Orientation (ISO), and then join other new students at Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR).  Both programs are essential to your success and are a fun, exciting beginning to your college experience!
