Merit

Administrative Faculty may be considered for merit annually.

This is a "once a year bonus" and is not added into an employees base pay.

The senior staff may nominate up to 30% of their Administrative Faculty for consideration.

The Administrative Faculty Personnel Committee may pass on 20% of the total Administrative Faculty on campus to the President for consideration.

As stated earlier the annual review report and supervisors recommendation are the key components the committee looks at when determining individuals to recommend to the President for merit.

  Step Advancement

Every fourth year Administrative Faculty may be considered for a step advancement or promotion.

The dollar value of this promotion is determined by the employees' classification and current step category on the salary matrix and the increase is added to the base salary and becomes effective in the next academic year.
