The Department of Environmental Health and Safety, serving the EOU community to help insure a safe and healthy educational and working environment.
The Department of Environmental Health & Safety (EH & S) consists of four divisions:
Animal Care and Use Facility: Provides monitoring of animal care, living facilities and university use.
Campus Security: Provides campus security personnel, enforces campus security policy and maintains incident reporting records.
Environmental Health and Safety: Primarily monitors occupational and educational safety maters related to air and water quality, university chemical stores, building and campus safety and disaster planning.
Risk Management: Liability concerns regarding student, staff and faculty involved in school sponsored activities. Alcoholic beverage permits, special events, student travel and other insurance and liability concerns.
