Participating in Blackboard

Blackboard is software used for online courses. You will be enrolled in the Social Welfare Practicum (I'll need your email address, preferably your EOU email address, to enroll you). Each week you'll be asked to report in, and to let the other students taking practica know what you're doing, if you've had any problems, etc. (keeping in mind the confidentiality agreement with identities). This is a good opportunity for others to learn about situations they might encounter, and potentially for you to get feedback or advice on something you're dealing with in your practicum. So, rather than meeting in class once a week, we will have a discussion online. Part of passing the practicum is participating in Blackboard, so I will remind you (gently the first time . . . ) if you're not posting weekly.

You need to be signed in to Blackboard and provide an introduction by the end of week 1.
